“Merry Christmas to all! & To all a Good Night”
I completely understand why ‘Santa’ says such a quote… I
have never slept so well since Thanksgiving. I usually travel to see my family,
as does half of the Commonwealth clan, however, this year family came to us.
Hosting a party is an absolute blast. You have the control
of what to serve, when to begin the party, who’s invited, and how to decorate.
The prepping can be a little stressful; especially when hosting your first
adult party on the most important holiday – but it went off without a hitch! (I
have my mother to thank).
We wrapped the evening up with everyone’s beverage of
choice, some sweats, a heated blanket, and a Christmas Vacation; the perfect ending to a wonderful Christmas
Holiday.
As I sit here and begin to think of our holiday plans for
New Years Eve, I reflect on the year 2012- what I loved, what I would like to
repeat, what I would like to change, what my 2013+ goals are, and what more I
can do for my community.
I hope everyone had a jubilant Holiday filled with love and
laughter!
